Jessica Scerri, Chief Executive Officer
Jessica Scerri, the CEO at Golden State Lumber + Showroom, continues to promote the company’s core values and dedication to exceptional customer service, established by her father and grandfather.
Jessica officially joined the company in the accounting department, where she learned to read and analyze financial statements. Next, she worked as a project manager implementing new processes and working with managers throughout the company, familiarizing her with all the locations. Then, in 2004, Jessica was appointed general manager of Golden State Lumber + Showroom’s Brisbane location. With the knowledge acquired working at the business since her teen years, and a passion for building on the company’s legacy, Jessica became Golden State Lumber + Showroom’s CEO in 2010.
As CEO, Jessica has led the company to record growth through strategic partnerships, locations, and product expansions. The company also continually invests in its workforce to ensure Golden State Lumber + Showroom customers receive the best building materials from trusted employees with extensive industry experience. Jessica and others at Golden State Lumber + Showroom also believe in giving back to the many communities the company serves through sponsorships and donations to local programs selected by employees living and working in those areas.
Jessica and her husband are raising two energetic, sports-minded sons within a close-knit extended family. “Family is such a huge part of our lives that has fed my soul over the years,” she explained. “I think that has infiltrated what I do in business and how I lead.”
