Lumber Yard Customer Service

Our Brisbane location is seeking a highly motivated individual for a full-time lumber yard customer service position. We are looking for a candidate, who is friendly, possesses a positive personality and who enjoys working in a team atmosphere. This is a very high energy, fast-paced environment.


  • Assisting customers with placing orders.
  • Straightening lumber stacks.
  • Helping customers load trucks.
  • General clean up.
  • Direct customer traffic to appropriate areas.
  • Filling customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Solving customer issues, problems and concerns to the best of your ability.
  • Stocking all Lumber and other products to appropriate area/ rack.

Skills Required

  • Must have ability to lift 100 pounds.
  • Lumber industry and chain saw experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal/customer service skills
  • Possession of strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments.
  • Able to work collectively with the other Yard employees.
